Each mixtape is compressed into a .zip file that will need to be extracted to your computers hard drive once the file
has been downloaded. We recommend using Winzip to extract the file.
Vanhiphop.com allows
you to Download mp3 mixtapes, all in 224 kb/s format 44,000mhz, encoded with ID tags for display purposes.
What You pay for is the bandwidth for us to send you the MP3 download and you're instantly e-mailed a unique download link.
Q&A
Q: How big is the average mixtape?
A: Mixtape sizes may vary. Most range from between 65-170 megabytes. Depending on
your internet connection, it may take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour to download.
Q: Why does
my download link say "Expired?"
A: All mixtapes are set to a maximum of 2 downloads
per purchase(one for back-up in case of error with the first download), after you have used both downloads, the link will
"Expire".
Q: I purchased a mixtape, now how do I download it?
A: All Mixtapes are sent straight to the e-mail you used when you purchased. You
will recieve an e-mail titled to the address you supplied titled "Your Mixtape Orders
Are Ready To Download!", follow the link in that e-mail to your account, and simply click the button titled "Download Now" next to the respective mixtape(if you ordered more than one), and enjoy your mixtapes!
Q: How much does it cost to download a mixtape?
A: Buying a mixtape from us is a flat
fee of $2.50 CAD (Canadian), no hidden costs, no shipping fees, $2.50 is exact amount you will pay for the mixtape. The cost
of $2.50 covers the bandwidth it takes to deliver the mixtape to you, hosting fees, and website maintenance.
Q: Can I transfer music to my portable(CD/MP3) player?
A: Yes, because all of our mixtapes are encoded in MP3, it is possible for them to be burned
to a CD or easily transfered to an MP3 player such an an IPod.
Q: I ordered but I haven't recieved an e-mail, whats going on?
A: If you place an order at vanhiphop.com and do not recieve the "Your Mixtapes
Are Ready To Download" e-mail within 24 hours, please contact us info@vanhiphop.com
Q: How do I know I'm not getting ripped off?
A: All of the mixtapes in our section are a constant 224kb/s (CD Quality)
44,000mhz. No rip off 128kb/s, trust me you can hear the difference. We also thoroughly listen to every mixtape we
upload onto our server, to make sure they are high quality, and ready for distrubution.
